What is TruHue?
TruHue is a color analysis app that helps you discover your best makeup colors using a 12-season color analysis system. Take a selfie, get your color season, and scan products to see which ones match your palette.
How does the color analysis work?
TruHue uses AI-powered photo analysis to evaluate your skin undertone, depth, and contrast level, then maps these to one of 12 color seasons. Your photos are sent securely to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis and are not stored or used for any other purpose.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your selfie photos are used only for color analysis and are not stored on our servers. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
How do subscriptions work?
TruHue offers a free tier with basic features. Premium features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open TruHue, go to the subscription screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." This will restore any active subscriptions linked to your Apple ID.
The app isn't working correctly. What should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app, or restarting your device. If the issue persists, please email us with a description of the problem and your device model, and we'll help resolve it.
