TruHue is a color analysis app that helps you discover your best makeup colors using a 12-season color analysis system. When TruHue launches, you'll be able to take a selfie, get your color season, and scan products to see which ones match your palette.

TruHue uses AI-powered photo analysis to evaluate your skin undertone, depth, and contrast level, then maps these to one of 12 color seasons. Your photos are sent securely to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis and are not stored or used for any other purpose.

TruHue was built by Liv and her mom Claudia — a homeschooling family from Oklahoma. It started when Liv picked out a lipstick that looked completely wrong on her, and they both wished there was an app for that. So they took color analysis classes, taught themselves to code, and built one. TruHue is a real mom-and-daughter project from start to finish.
